Introduction of this activity

First of all, the Student Council decorated the restaurant with the help of the teacher. Then when it was lunch time, the president of Student Council introduced this holiday for students. After that, everyone enjoyed good lunch and pumpkin pie, which were prepared by school. The most interesting thing is that every student received a small card, which we could write to thank people around us. Students all had a good time to celebrate this important holiday!

It is a national holiday celebrated in Canada, the United States and so on. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States, and around the same part of the year in other places.
