What is IELTS?
IELTS boasts as the world’s most popular English proficiency test, with 2.9 million tests taken in 2016, and is recognized by over 10,000 organizations worldwide. This includes schools, universities, employers, immigration authorities and professional bodies. It is the standard test used in Ontario Universities for their admissions process when considering prospective international undergraduate applicants. It is also to be recognized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and immigration Quebec as proof of English language proficiency for express entry (skilled immigrants).
